To all Chi-Town Sta-Bil Kruze sponsors, participants, volunteers, and spectators:

Well, you did it again! The 2nd Chi-Town Kruze was another smashing success! On a glorious cool, cloudless day on the lake, we had over 600 show cars, over a thousand show spectators and countless Lake Shore Drive Kruze participants. More importantly, you all helped us raise $25,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Thank you!

I'd like to offer many , many, heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Chi-Town Sta-Bil Kruze steering commitee and myself to all of our sponsors: Gold Eagle's STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer, 94.7 True Oldies radio and WLS AM 890, Chicagoland and NW Indiana Chevy Dealers, Turtle Wax, Napa Auto Parts, and Peak Anti-Freeze.

I'd also like to thank Jim Law of the Mayor's Office of Special Events, Ralph Concepcion and everyone at Ravenswood Events, Colleen Ryan for handling our PR, Celeste Mattern from C.Saw Marketing for getting all of our sponsors on board.

I'd also like to thank Doug Porter and Jennifer Armstrong from Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Thank you to Sal Cerone from Monster Boombox for pumping out some great music and handling all public annoucements.

I'd also like to thank all of our volunteers who worked so hard for nothing other than the enjoyment of being a part of "the start of something wonderful!"

I'd also like to personally thank the members of the Chi-Town Kruze steering committee who again donated their time, expertise, and enthusiasm.
